EAL pupils sign up through the exact same Parent & Pupil Sign Up profile as all other learners. Once registered, you can select English as an Additional Language (EAL) when filtering tutors or booking sessions, and track proficiency progress directly from your standard portal.

Log in to your GCSEase Portal and navigate to the My Schedule tab. 15 minutes before your lesson begins, a Join Session button will appear next to your booking. You can cancel at any time from your account settings.

We require a minimum of 24 hours notice for cancellations or rescheduling to avoid being charged for the session. You can manage your bookings or message your tutor directly inside your parent/student portal.

Yes! Every live 1-to-1 and group whiteboard session is automatically and securely recorded for both safeguarding and revision purposes. Students and parents can re-watch past lessons at any time inside the Past Lessons tab of their portal.

Absolutely not. Our AI Tutor is strictly programmed as a guided teaching assistant. Students can screenshot a tricky question and paste it into the chat, and the AI will break down the steps, explain the underlying concept, or read it out loud—but it will never simply hand over final answers to copy.

The Digital Workbook is an interactive online canvas where students complete essays, grammar drills, and structured exercises. It auto-saves work in real time so tutors can review progress and leave targeted feedback directly on the page.

You can message any tutor before booking using the 💬 Message button on the Find a Tutor page, or use the built-in secure messaging system inside your parent/student portal to discuss homework, goals, or upcoming sessions without sharing personal phone numbers.

You can apply via our Tutor Application Page. Once your qualifications and DBS check are verified, you can log into the Teacher Dashboard to set your hourly rate, working days/hours, and subjects—and access your built-in Teacher AI co-pilot for lesson planning.

Tutors are paid securely via direct bank transfer at the end of each working week. You can track all completed 1-to-1 and group hours alongside expected payouts in real time on your Teacher Dashboard.
